How We Get There

• Climate Justice: Support community-led transitions to clean energy that provide jobs and reduce energy burdens
• Clean Air and Water: Close coal plants and replace them with renewables
• Clean Energy for All: Ensure everyone has access to affordable renewable energy

Our Campaign Goals

• Close all of North Carolina’s coal plants by 2030: Demand that Duke Energy to close all six remaining coal plants and replace them with clean energy.
• No new gas plants or pipelines: Tell Duke Energy: no more gas plants or pipelines in North Carolina,. We want a clean energy future.
• More Renewable Energy in North Carolina: Encourage state leaders to implement a 100% carbon-free energy standard by 2030
